Hello Lovelies, I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year’s Eve! If you didn’t try the Cherry Lime Spritzer last night, you can always make it at any other party- or hey, just for yourself is fine too ;) We shared last night with our closest friends at our favorite restaurant (Peli Peli; if you’re in Houston you should MUST check it out) After the absolutely delectable meal we headed out to see some fireworks (it isn’t New Year’s Eve without fireworks!) Well, now it’s here, 2015, with all its untold stories and adventures waiting to happen, I’m just glad I can share it with you guys :)
It’s now time for another in-depth home office post- I promise after this one we’ll move on to something else. No more office accent pieces or furniture picks for another couple of weeks! *fingers-crossed*
Remember how I was dreaming of an airy, light-filled office in soft colors with bold accents in gold and pink? Well, now that I have a premise set for the space, I wanted to throw in some office accent pieces to tie in the look together.
I love a good simple design that is functional, yet stylish. These days I’m craaazy about gold accents-
1. Spotted Cushion from Etsy
2. Wire Wall Organizer from Joss and Main (it might not be there anymore since they have flash sales)
3. Gold Lamp from Lumens
4. Faux Peony vase from HomeGoods (keep checking your local store for similar arrangements)
The photograph in the center is from Just Dandy’s apartment tour. Check out her blog, it’s super cute!
For the clutter on your desk, try these gorgeous gold wire organizers. I wouldn’t mind sorting through a pile of papers if I get to use these!

You can find the magazine holder here, and the letter sorter here. I’m loving the wire desk accessories, they kind of toughen up the otherwise feminine setting. Remember, you want to mix in your elements- try using a variety of textures to add visual interest, for example, throw in a soft rug or some sheer drapes. I used the spotted cushion to offset all the gold, too much matchy-matchy = not-so-cute!
Make sure you have fun styling your space- don’t worry about everything being perfect. Just set the tone with a few key pieces and take it from there. Let me know what you think about the accent pieces and the look altogether, I’d love to hear what you guys have to say :)

Until next time,
